WHAT
The Difference Makers Campaign is a two-year spiritual journey that seeks to raise $8 million to $9 million dollars of seed money to expand our facility through the construction of a new Worship Auditorium, a new Atrium, and upgraded and potentially expanded Children’s Ministry Space, along with a New Entry Drive off of 150-Hwy with both East and West access through the median, as well as additional parking to meet the requirements of those who will attend Journey.
OUR CAMPUS MASTER PLAN DESIGN
For 8 years now we have experienced God’s faithfulness and seen him move in amazing ways at Journey Church International. In 2016, He provided our first permanent facility which has served as a home base for thousands of people to come to know Jesus, be transformed, discover their purpose, and live on mission as difference makers in their community and around the world. Now we ask for God’s faithfulness to expand our launching pad for incrementally more ministry to be done and for many more people to be sent out.
The images of the new environments will enhance our launching pad by providing space for more people to attend our worship experiences every Sunday in a more comfortable and conducive environment to spiritual growth, better equipped environments and more space to engage children and students with the gospel, and serve as a venue for numerous ministry and community events to connect people to live life on mission.
A PLACE TO GROW
Our new Atrium area will be approximately 16,00 square feet and include space for our Next Steps area, Growth Track discipleship environment, and prayer room. The atrium will also feature a large cross in the entry area that will be visible from 150 Highway.
A PLACE FOR COMMUNITY
Our new Atrium will also serve as the primary gathering space for people to meet, find ministry opportunities, and develop friendships at Journey. A warm and open environment with comfortable seating, a cafe and snack area, and easy access to kids environments will provide the perfect place for individuals and families to find community.
A PLACE TO WORSHIP
Our new Auditorium will be approximately 15,000 square feet and include a 1,200 seat auditorium with comfortable, fixed seating, generous isle space and expanded ministry space at the altar. Our current auditorium will be reimagined as a new children’s environment for Sunday mornings, provide additional student space for mid-week ministry, and provide a smaller environment for future Bible studies and programming. In addition, the children’s ministry will also have three additional worship spaces made available for ministry.
A PLACE TO PARK
Our expanded site was built with convenient parking in mind. The new building will be centrally located to all parking with plenty of spaces to accommodate the capacity of the new building. A new entry and exit will now make right and left hand turns out of the property a reality. Traffic will flow smoothly around a new exterior roadway with convenient drop off points at the front and back of the building. As a bonus, expanded parking for trucks will now be provided as well.

Our new home will include 23 acres of convenient parking, expanded facilities, beautiful outdoor spaces, and warm and welcoming environments to house the needs of current and future ministry at Journey.
