Each year\, we have the opportunity to bless families in our community by providing gifts for children from two of our Community Impact partner organizations\, Coldwater and Journey for Life. When you “adopt” a child\, you’re not just giving presents—you’re reminding them that they are seen\, valued\, and loved. Living for Jesus means serving others\, and this is a simple but powerful way to do just that. Stop by the atrium before or after service to choose a child or family to adopt and help make their Christmas truly magical. \nTags will be available in the Community Impact area of our atrium starting November 9th\, and gifts are due back no later than December 7th. Whether you run\, walk\, skip\, cartwheel\, or hop your way to the finish line\, you’ll conquer a whole .5K — that’s nearly a third of a mile (1\,640 feet to be exact) — and celebrate in a burst of foam-filled fun! \nThis lighthearted race ends with a foam finish\, plus post-race bananas\, medals\, and good vibes. Best of all\, 100% of your entry fee goes to RefugeKC\, an organization welcoming refugees as our New American Neighbors through Gospel-focused ministries of mercy. \nCome for the cause\, stay for the foam — and help us launch Serve Week with joy and purpose! \nRegister here and make every step count!
