Missions and Outreach
At Journey Church International we are fulfilling the Great Compassion (Mt. 25:31-46) by connecting with and supporting local ministry partners who exist in our community to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit those imprisoned, and help hurting people. We give our resources, people, time, and money to effective local ministries so that their mission is carried out in Jackson and Cass Counties.
Coldwater— Lee’s Summit, MO
Coldwater’s No Hungry Kids is helping provide over 500 Lee’s Summit children in low-income housing with sack lunches every week. Plus, Coldwater’s No Hungry Kids continues to be a funding and community partner with Harvesters to bring the BackSnack program to Lee’s Summit elementary schools. Currently, 190 children are being fed weekly through the BackSnack program.
Hope Faith Ministries— Kansas City, MO
Hope Faith’s vision is to see an end to adult long-term homelessness in the Greater Kansas City area. They serve more than 800 meals every day, assist over 700 people with clothing and personal hygiene products every week, give 50 people haircuts and grooming services at their barber shop and salon every day, and furnish more than 50 families each month with furnishings and more.
We believe that God has called us to be a church that fulfills the Great Commission (Mt. 28:19-20) by ministering weekly on every populated continent in the world through International Church Planting and ministry efforts. Our prayer is that through the giving and influence of the partners of Journey Church International that our church will FOUND, FUND, and FACILITATE ministry internationally in un-reached or little-reached parts of our world. Pray that God may lead our church to ministry partners and opportunities around the world to develop passionate Christians that will serve to reach out to the lost and hurting people of their communities with the love of Jesus.

Thailand—Grace International School
Grace International School exists primarily to enable international Christian workers to remain in their field of service by providing for the needs of their children through an integrated education from a Christian worldview. In addition to providing a Christian day school experience, they are committed to providing a variety of services to support both students with special needs and homeschooling families.
Crossroads Worldwide exists to preach the gospel and make disciples. Our goal is to do this through supporting the local church and building community among believers. They are an interdenominational ministry designed to meet and love people as they are with God’s truth, teaching them how to effectively live for Christ in the real world while sharing God’s grace with those around them. It is the desire of Crossroads to make disciples of all people, encouraging and nurturing those who love Jesus, and winning those who do not yet know Him.
