WHERE: Flourish Furniture Bank
WHAT: Flourish, Kansas City’s furniture bank, partners with social service agencies providing wrap-around services to empower families overcoming housing insecurity. By collecting, repairing, and providing donated furniture and home essentials for the entire home, Flourish impacts lives. We’ll be sorting and organizing donations, preparing sets of dishes, repairing textiles, etc. No skill is required, but if you happen to have special skills in sewing, woodwork, or upholstery, this is a great option for you! Volunteers must be 12 or older to participate, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
