At Journey Church International, we understand that visiting a new church can feel overwhelming. We want you to know what to expect so that when you’re here, you can focus on what matters — Jesus. Find information about parking, connecting with us, pre-registering your kids, and more below.
Each weekend, our team of local church volunteers look forward to making you feel welcome from the moment you drive in to the moment you leave. These individuals will greet you with a smile and a wave as they guide you through the parking lot. Be sure to follow their direction for the best parking!
When you visit our church in Lee’s Summit, we want to meet you! Stop by the Connections Center in the Atrium before or after service to receive a free gift for you and your family. Our friendly volunteers can also help answer any questions you may have about Journey!
While you’re attending worship, your kids will enjoy age-appropriate programming created just for them in our Journey Kids ministry. We offer care for children up to 5th grade during all our adult service times — 7:45, 9:30, or 11:15 A.M. Middle and high school students are invited to join us in the Worship Center on weekends. Save time on your first visit by pre-registering your kids.
Stop by our Café, located in the Atrium, to get your Sunday morning started. The coffee is hot, delicious, and free! (Not a coffee fan? We have tea, too!)
Our local church’s Sunday services are at 7:45, 9:30, or 11:15 A.M. and last approximately 65 minutes. From the street to your seat, you’ll experience worship, prayer, Scripture reading, and an insightful message from one of our pastoral staff. By applying biblical truths to real-life issues, our messages will help you strengthen your relationships and become more impactful in your home, at work, and in the community. Whether you have a personal relationship with Jesus or not, our prayer is that you’ll walk away feeling encouraged, challenged, and inspired.

Visitor parking is located at the front of our church parking lot. Please turn on your hazards to notify our parking team that you are new to Journey, and they will direct you to our Visitor parking.
Your kids are an important part of our community! While you’re attending worship, your kids will enjoy age-appropriate programming created just for them in our Journey Kids ministry from ages 6 months to 5th grade. Our staff and volunteers have gone through safety screenings and trainings to make sure your kiddos are well taken care of. If you have a middle school or high school student, you can find information about their gatherings here.

We provide a dedicated nursing mothers’ area in the kids’ wing of our church center. Our Journey Kids team will be happy to walk you to the room at any time during service.
After worship, you can head over to our Connections Center for a gift! Our volunteers will be able to answer any questions you may have about Journey.
