As part of Serve Week 2026, we’re partnering with 15 and the Mahomies and Sleep in Heavenly Peace for an impactful serve event to help provide 150 beds for children across Kansas City who currently don’t have one of their own. Right now, more than 1,000 children in our city are waiting for a bed—and together, we have the opportunity to make a real difference.
Whether you’re handy with tools or simply willing to lend a hand, this is a unique opportunity for people of all ages and skill levels to come together and serve side-by-side for an incredible cause. It’s sure to be an unforgettable event filled with purpose, teamwork, and impact.

- If you’ve never used our volunteer portal, you’ll need to create an account first.
- Once you’re logged in, you’ll need to hit “Sign Up” towards the top right (next to the Serve Week 2026 heading).
- Once you’ve signed up for Serve Week, you can find this specific project by typing, “SiHP & 15 Mahomies Bed Build” into the search bar.
- Click on the serve opportunity and click “Sign Up.” Follow the instructions to sign up for this event.
