In an effort to serve our community’s physical needs as well as their spiritual needs, we will be delivering free Thanksgiving meal boxes to families at their homes on Saturday, November 21st. Our Thanksgiving Meal boxes include all the fixins to cook up a Thanksgiving meal and are one the biggest ways we serve the community during the holiday season. Keep reading for additional details about the different ways you can get involved!
If you know someone who might be in need of a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season, we encourage you to share the box reservation link with them. Anyone can sign up for a box, and boxes will be given on a first registered, first-served basis. We have a total of 150 boxes that will be available for reservation. Limit one box per household. On November 21st, someone over the age of 18 will need to be present at the address given to receive the box.
FOOD DONATIONS
We can’t pack boxes without your help! Leading up to delivery day, we’ll be collecting food donations on November 14th. All donations will need to be dropped off at the church that morning so our teams can prep and pack boxes in the afternoon.
RECEIVING, SORTING & PACKING
We also need help sorting donations and packing boxes! On November 14th, join us to help collect donations being dropped off and lovingly pack and prep boxes to be delivered.
BOX DELIVERY
Finally, we’ll need volunteers on-hand the day of (November 21st) to help load boxes into vehicles, as well as delivery drivers! Each delivery team will work a one-hour shift between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. Deliveries will not exceed 10 miles from the church unless you’ve agreed to go further.
