At Journey Church International in Lee’s Summit, we believe everyone has a specific purpose. You are an important part of God’s plan and were created with a unique set of talents, which He calls us to use to serve others and shine His light.
Uncovering your spiritual gifts is a crucial next step in deepening your relationship with Jesus. But it’s not enough to simply identify your gifts; you must also discover how to apply these gifts in a way that fulfills God’s purpose for you.
“Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.”
Growth Track is a monthly process at our church in Lee’s Summit designed to help you take the next steps in your relationship with Jesus and reach your full potential. If you want to get more connected at Journey, you’re in the right place!
We like to think of Growth Track as the on-ramp to serving at Journey Church International and beyond. God has made us in His image and equipped each of us with gifts that He wants us to share with others through words and actions.
During the Growth Track process, you’ll learn all about how you were fearfully and wonderfully made and how you can use your talents to glorify the Kingdom of God. Growth Track prepares you to be a servant of the Lord and impact your church and community in real and tangible ways.
Growth Track includes five steps to help you become a passionate Christian who makes a difference in the world.
StepONE through stepFOUR is held every Sunday at 9:30 A.M. in the Growth Track room right outside of our Worship Center. StepFIVE is offered at 11:00 A.M. in the Growth Track room on fourth Sundays, and at 9:30 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. on the fifth Sunday of the month in months that have five Sundays.
