Our Guest Services teams serve people on Sunday morning and during special events. People matter most, and all our volunteers enjoy the unity of serving together in the mission of Jesus and supporting the vision of Journey. Our volunteers use the spiritual gifts God gave them to let people know that they are seen, known, and loved—at Journey and through the care they experience during the week:
Campus Support Team—This team prepares our campus by setting up and taking down flags and signs.
Connections Center Team—This team assists with making connections for both new guests, helping them acclimate to Journey, and seasoned partners, informing them of the latest opportunities for community at Journey.
Greeter Team—This team joyfully welcomes everyone walking through the doors of the building and into the Worship Center.
Home Team—This team creates welcoming environments so our guests and Journey family feel at home while they are at church. They serve coffee in our café and provide warm touches around the building.
Parking Team—This team loves welcoming our Journey family and guests. They analyze needs in our parking lot and make sure everyone is safe.
Safety and Medical Team—This team is comprised mainly of military and first responders. They are intentional in keeping our people safe.
Usher Team—This team warmly welcomes people in the Worship Center, helps people find a seat, and assists with collecting the offering and distributing communion.
This team has serve opportunities at every service on Sunday, as well as a few positions that can be done at Journey throughout the week.
