This is a way for Journey-goers to get together in a competitive or co-ed recreational soccer environment in order share our passion for Christ and soccer with each other. Foster some friendships and spiritual community have good time playing the sport we love. We will be open to players for men’s and co-ed. We play at APEX Sports Hub, which is an indoor facility. Please wear turf shoes instead of cleats.
There is also an option for 18yo+and 35yo+ depending on how many people of those two age groups show interest. Each team will consist of 12 players and there is a fee, based on how many players sign up. We will be a beacon to those who don’t know God through our attitudes, sportsmanship and all-around demeanor on and off the soccer field. Maybe it will open an avenue to have spiritual discussions based on moments in games. Prayer before and after games as a team is a main focus, as well as the way we minister to one another in the soccer community. This is a good outlet for the Christian athletes in our congregation.
