WHERE: NewView Place Apartments
WHAT: JCI partnering with RefugeKC will host an event for children and youth at an apartment complex in Kansas City’s northeast area. This is a get acquainted event at NewView apartment complex where the residents are mostly from Somalia and Republic of Congo. We’ll be providing interactive fun games and snacks for the children and youth. Additionally, we’ll be handing out fliers for a summer sports camp and fall ESL classes. This effort is to work with RefugeKC in welcoming our new American neighbors, many of whom have had little previous contact with Christians, with gospel-focused ministries of mercy.
