WHERE: Micah Ministries
WHAT: Micah Ministries is centered around a ministry of home-cooked meals in which faith-based and civic volunteers partner and seek to help our food vulnerable neighbors. From 5:30-7:00 P.M. every Monday, Micah offers a warm meal, hygiene products, clothing, additional food items, pet food, a free medical clinic from Care Beyond the Boulevard, and items to support our house-less neighbors such as blankets, sleeping bags, tents, etc. They are currently serving over 1,000 meals, 200-300 rolls of toilet paper, 250-300 articles of clothing, and 200-300 outdoor survival items (sleeping bags, tarps, tents, etc) each Monday evening. We’ll be helping sort clothing donations in preparation for their Monday evening ministry. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to serve and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
