Our Volunteer Headquarters, affectionately referred to as VHQ, focuses on two main things: championing our volunteers’ serve and expanding the reach of the ministry. As the Volunteer Care Team, we champion volunteers by greeting them with a warm smile and friendly face, preparing and serving breakfast, having conversation and getting to know them, and praying for them. We expand the reach of their ministry by helping them get checked in and ready for the service they are serving in and confirm they have all the resources they need. It is important to show our appreciation to them as being difference makers for Jesus at Journey, our community, and around the world.
This team has serve opportunities at every service on Sundays, as well as some miscellaneous weekday tasks that are event-specific.
