After high school, your life changes. This season often involves moving away from home, pursuing your passions, and meeting new people with different ideas and perspectives. During this time, it’s important to maintain close-knit relationships with other like-minded believers who will keep you accountable and help you grow in your faith.
Journey College & Young Adults (JCYA) seeks to provide college-aged adults with community through weekly gatherings, small groups, and fellowship with one another. When you’re here, we want you to feel at home so that you can draw closer to Jesus, establish lasting connections, and become the best version of yourself.

Journey Church International
When you attend Journey College & Young Adults, you’ll experience a welcoming and community-oriented service with prayer, an encouraging message, and the opportunity to build relationships.
We encourage you to come as early as 6:30 P.M. to play games and hang out with us. We’d love to spend time with you! Feel free to invite as many friends as you like – you don’t need to be a regular attender at Journey to come to JCYA.
In addition to prayer and fellowship, we break out into small groups to help you dive into the message further and create close bonds with people who are in a similar season of life. If you’re not part of a group at Journey College & Young Adults yet, reach out to us and we’ll get you added to one! We can also get you grouped up when you visit us for the first time.
Did you know we offer internships at our church in Lee’s Summit? Our Internship Program includes part-time positions for college-aged students interested in pursuing ministry as a career.
Whatever your interests and abilities, we have opportunities that will not only strengthen your talents, but also help you grow in your walk with Christ.
Whether you’ve been saved for the first time or recently recommitted your life to Jesus, we encourage everyone to demonstrate their faith and showcase their commitment in Christ through baptism. If you feel baptism is your next spiritual step, reach out to our team for more information.
Our College & Young Adults ministry isn’t the only way to get plugged in at Journey. We have lots of opportunities that encourage spiritual growth and get you more connected to our church, including our Bible reading plan, discipleship groups, serving projects, and more.
