Make Music for God’s Glory

Music plays an integral role in how we worship at Journey Church International. Lifting our voices in praise not only helps unite our church community, but it also gives us a unique opportunity to connect with Jesus in a deeper way.

Our Student Ministry is always on the lookout for talented and passionate music lovers to add to our worship team. Sound like you? Learn how you can apply and help lead students at Student Night in song.

Student Worship Team Auditions

Whether you’re a vocalist or instrumentalist, we’d love to see you use your musical gifts on our Student Worship Team to grow spiritually and inspire others to do the same. There are two phases to our audition process.

Phase 1

Record a video of yourself playing or singing along to one of our selected songs listed below. When you’re ready to submit the video(s), fill out our Student Worship Team application and upload your video(s) in the appropriate field. You’ll receive a follow-up email from our team once we’ve reviewed your application and audition. Audition Songs and Resources:

Bass Guitar: I Believe, Key of Bb
Drums: I Believe, Key of Bb

Male Vocals: Hindsight, Key of B or Nothing Else, Key of B

Phase 2

If you’re selected to continue, we’ll set up a live audition with you in the Auditorium. We’ll contact you within a week of the evaluation and discuss how it went and if you’re ready for a position within our Student Ministry. **Please note, you must be a regular attendee of Journey Church International to join the Student Worship Team. If you haven’t attended Journey for three to six months (three for instrumentalists and six for co-leaders and vocalists), you can still continue with the application, but know that you will not be placed until you’ve made a commitment to the church.**
